What is ceramics?
Ceramics is a general term for products made from fired clay. The products are fired at high temperatures, so they harden and become quite durable. That is why ceramics are also popular as plates, cups, bowls, vases and not least art.
Ceramics have been used for thousands of years for both practical and decorative purposes. And modern developments in ceramic technology have given us even more applications. The strong ceramics are used, for example, in building materials such as bricks and tiles. Ceramics even have technical properties that make them useful in, for example, electronics and medical equipment.
However, we mostly collect ceramics for decoration and use in the home.
Ceramic mugs, vases, jars and dishes
We have many different ceramic products on the shelves and we are constantly adding new items. You can often find recognized brands such as Höganäs or Knabstrup ceramics. Many of our ceramic products are unique and in a retro style.
